Lishka Banda

Lishka Banda has been the Unit Administrative Assistant for the Newport News Extension Office since 2013. One of her responsibilities is overseeing all administrative functions for the office. Lishka has brought 35 years of experience providing superior administrative support and excellent attention to detail. As a native from a Central American country, she speaks fluent Spanish which is an asset to our diverse community. Lishka enjoys outdoors activities, photography, cooking, and searching on the net to stay abreast on ways to continue developing herself, both personal and professional. Her mantra is “you learn something new every day”, and that life itself, consists of life-long learning and the desire to learn!
